Born in Albania in 1970, Majlinda Bashllari is the author of two poetry books: Një udhë për në shtëpi (A Road to Home), published in Tirana, Albania (Morava, 2007), and the English-language collection of poems Love is a Very Long Word, published in Toronto, Canada (Guernica Editions, 2016). Her work has appeared in numerous Albanian art and literature magazines, as well as in anthologies of poetry, essays, and short stories. She is also the translator of Politikë & Letërsi: Paradigma Gramsci (Princi, 2021).
