RH Scholarship
RH Scholarship is a distinguished non-profit organization devoted to empowering Albanian Canadian students by awarding over 85 scholarships to date. This organization not only provides financial support but also enriches the cultural landscape by screening acclaimed Albanian films such as "Sofia," "Dy Gisht Mjaltë 2," "Në Kuadër të Dashurisë," "Pesë herë jo," and "Policë për Kokë." Additionally, RH Scholarship has hosed International Women's Day events, Marubi Photography Exhibits, Prifti's Painting Exhibition and an Albanian Book Fair showcasing Albanian literature. and brings celebrated artists like Irma Libohova, Pirro Çako, Mira Konçi, Shpëtim Saraci to the city. Under the visionary leadership of President Tea Haxhillari and Chairman Stephanie Teuta Haxhillari, alongside a dedicated board of nine directors, RH Scholarship nurtures a profound appreciation for Albanian heritage within the Canadian community.
The RH Scholarship’s mission is built upon three foundational pillars: education, community involvement, and entrepreneurial spirit. It aims to foster the development of education through various initiatives and provides specialized scholarships recognizing academic excellence, significant community contributions, and entrepreneurial achievements. These pillars ensure that the scholarship program not only supports students financially but also encourages well-rounded growth and active participation in both academic and community spheres.
